Google Alternatives

Here is a list of alternative products to Google. Our preliminary research shows that these sites have not engaged in partnerships with the Chinese government to spread propaganda nor enable censorship. We are currently awaiting responses from the executive management of some of these sites as to the extent of their relationship with China and their policies on censoring search results and web content. If you have any information relating to business dealings between any of these sites and the Chinese government, please contact campaigns@studentsforafreetibet.org.

Reporters Without Borders has an extensive handbook devoted to blogging and working online anonymously. We recommend it as a resource for anyone concerned about internet surveillance.
